Great ride and congrats. Enjoy. I can't wait to play with the intelli-key myself. It also comes with the new M.

looks great

Sirwrenchsalot,
Love your..er...your wifes 05! The chrome wheels make a big difference and I wish my 17" stocks were at least chromed. Alas, with car payments on my 04 premium package (purchased Feb 04) and lotto not in sight, I guess I'll have to wait awhile. I might even look at junkyards for some coupe wheels in the future. You'll most likely find the gas milage better than trucks but I can't seem to get over 20. I usually avarage about 19 with 2/3 hwy driving. Anyway, I try not to put all our mileage on the G35 but really enjoy driving it more than my wifes underpowered Audi 1.8T A4. And, I think I will enjoy it for years to come.
Best of luck to you and your wife with your G.

Lee

Congrats! I hope you and your wife enjoy your new G. I personally can't wait to pick up my '05 G35x.

When you get a chance, could you post some pics of the wood trim?

TIA

Pics of Rosewood cherry interior

jwaters:

Here are some pics of the rosewood cherry wood that they used for the interior. These were hand made prototypes for our car since there are NO wood kits out there for the 05's yet. I know there is a factory option, but this is not that one. Top it off, they used REAL WOOD!!!! I'm a pretty large car afficionado, and I know that most wood trims on cars ar either a cheap vinyl overlay to "appear" like the wood grain, or a plastic that's got a wood grain look. When I opened up where the NAV unit would normally be, I could see the stain and feel that it was REAL wood by the edges. I was completely impressed.

Sorry for the out of focus picture of the dash, but with all that's been going on with the holiday's and new years gatherings I haven't had time to take any new ones!
