Ok guys heres the deal, this is my baby...
My question is, Should I put these 20" avant garde matte black wheels with Hankook Ventus v12 Evo k110 Tires on my 2004 G35x Sedan?
http://www.elementwheels.com/proddet...10blk&cat=4286
I have a stock suspension but I do plan on purchasing Megan racing coilovers when i come up with the cash.
What issues will i run into when i install the coilovers and drop my car? Im a noob with offsets, rolling fenders, and camber kits. So what would i have to do?
I live in the northeast, so im also not sure how low i should go due to chances of snow. 1" - 2" is what i was thinking. What do you think?

I think it will look alright! The black doesnt really match with your grey but it definitely wont look bad! Now onto the specifics...
Im no fitment expert but Im sure if you are looking for a 2 inch drop with 20x10s you will need to roll your fenders no matter what your offset is. You will also need a camber kit since you are going pretty low.
Now another question is how do you want your tires? Stretched or beefy with a nice sidewall going? Thats gonna play a role in figure out how big and which spacers to use.

North east in the house! whoop whoop! And as for the wheels, they look good. Go for em! But def get a rear camber kit to minimize tire wear, fender rolling in the rear is always helpful from my research and asking members on here. But idk with a X model, should try to just get the right wheel size with the right offset so you wont have to bother with modifications since you wouldnt want a staggered setup on a X. If you look around the sedan forums you can find a handful of people that will help you out as well.

Well OP, when you match rims, you gotta find the right places on the car to match. Personally (and like many others), I would match rims with the body color. If I had your car color I would match white or alloy rims. Dont match rims with things like tint, grill or side markers. You can match those things with small things like lugnuts or caliper colors. too much black on the wrong car color will make it look trashy. If you dont want white or alloy, go with gunmetal or black WITH polish lip, just like one of the ppl said above. Dont get full black rims. remember contrast in the right areas is ur friend!!

I like the wheels.
Unless you are into stretched tires, lots of negative camber, and fender work I would go -with the 43mm offset. Definatly lower it before or at the same time. For a 1"-2" drop I would pick up a good rear camber kit(cheap) and install it with the suspension, then get an alignment. Some would recommend a front camber kit, but IMO since you are going with a square set-up, you can rotate the tires. It would take several sets of tires to recoup the cost of the camber kit, thats if you install it yourself. Also the drop wont put you too far out of factory spec. Keep the alignment (TOE mostly) in check and you are good to go.

Only you can answer the question about how low. What are you willing to put up with, scraping over speed bumps, going in and out of driveways, having the smallest pieces of debris on the road?
As a good friend of mine on here once said, "There's no such thing as too low, the ground is too high." lol
