make the VQ exhaust available by...

Alright ladies and gents, so after talking to Tony (Hydrazine) and asking him to make the MD Dual Tip VQ exhaust (for the sedan 03-06) available again for a limited number he said he would... to make this happen we need 20 people for the "group buy" and a $250 deposit to make sure that Tony doesnt get burnt and stuck with "overstock". The money would be deposited after 20 people sign up; so as soon as there are 20 individuals who want it, we can proceed with the project. I personally ask you that if you have thought of getting this exhaust please sign up, this is an opprotunity that does not come by everytime and Tony is nice enough to have agreed to do this for us. On top of that it's one of the best looking/sounding exhausts available for us and the manufacturing quality is top notch, please dont miss this opprotunity.

Feel free to PM with questions but allow some time for me to reply due to time difference (stuck in afghanistan)

PRICE:$777 (exhaust is Y-back, so midpipe and rear muffler)

"Yes. And there would be about a 3 month lead time to get production back up"

Phase I: Get 20+ people to sign up
Phase II: 20+ people make a deposit to Tony (to reserve your exhaust)
Phase III: Enjoy your exhaust

MD VQ SIGN UP:
1. StepUpG35
2. RonniePetras
3. Beebo
4. Selcareh

Did he give you a price? There's no way we can get a MD VQ for a $250 deposit.... right?

no the price on the exhaust i am still waiting on but i'm guessing it will be about the same as it was before $777, it is a little on the pricey side but the quality/looks of it is worth every penny

If he knows he will not make it til 20 people order he should be able to confirm a price for 20+ people; otherwise, it's gonna be hard to get 20+ people to want to commit and deposit when they don't know a final cost.

please see post # 3... it is not Tony's fault, i didnt ask him in the first pm (i have sent another asking for final price) because i am pretty sure the price is going to be same as it was and i am willing to pay it since its one of very few exhausts that doesnt rasp or drone...

Agreed about the quality, and its awesome that Tony is willing to bring it back, I have wanted that exhaust since the day I got my car. But shes 7 years old now, I'm not spending $800 on exhaust at this point. In for pricing nonetheless.

If someone was smart and had the cash, they'd put a deposit down on a handful of these and buy them then resell them later when everyone starts begging for them again

I'd actually consider it if I wasn't selling my G in a couple of months.

Is this just an axleback or full exhaust including y-pipe? I'm also interested in the pricing of this.
