i currently have the megan racing OE RS catback exhaust system on my 04 sedan. Im thinking of either buying the 350z HR Y pipe or the megan racing v2 MR Y pipe. Can anyone tell me the sound differences between these 2? Does 1 have rasp and the other doesnt? Im not sure which one would sound better with my catback exhaust. please I need some input.

 

they look almost identical besides the material so it would sound almost the same. Either ones would make your exhaust a little louder. Just enough for YOU to notice tho not really anyone else hahah. Im speaking from experience since I have the V2 MR Y pipe. it does make it a little louder.

 

Go with the Megan HR Style, its the same as the OEM HR but it was made to flow with their exhaust system.

OEM HR = 2" primaries to 2.5" exit
Megan HR = 2.5" primaries to 3" exit
Megan OE-RS = 3" system
