Will HR Y-Pipe Fit 05 G35x

I know its probably covered in the forums but I'm getting different answers will on HR Y-Pipe fit my 2005 G35x because i read something might be in the way of it can someone clarify this for me because i already have a couple mid pipe i will be putting on soon.

yes, it will fit but there is no point because the g35x y-pipes are already close to the HR y-pipe shape.

Don't do it. The 05-06X are very similar. You won here much a difference.

Interesting, I didn't know this. So changing the Y pipe on an X isn't very beneficial at all considering most V35 owners switch to V36 Y pipes right?

^no the v36 y-pipe sucks, the only one worth anything is the 350z HR y-pipe and only for RWD cars

^ Correct. Only one worth getting is the 350z HR ypipe. The G35x is very similar to the HR ypipe. Check under your car.

I have the g37 y pipe and have no issues.

230 whp on mustang dyno which reads about 11% lower than a dyno jet.

I kind of figured this but then how come 04 sedan owners benefit fit an HR pipe and i wouldn't because i have a 05 G35x?

I was going to purchase and install a HR y pipe for a 08 g35 and install it this Sunday along with my coupe mid pipe but from what I'm understanding there is not point to buy the HR Y Pipe for the 05 G35x

yes, the g35x y-pipe already has a similar shape to the HR.

good thing i just found this out i was going to pick one up this saturday it would be a waste of $100 and no difference in sounds or gains.
