Ipod control without SAT button

Hey Guys. Don't know if this has been covered but it is possible to get and Ipod to work with the factory radio that does not have a SAT button.

I used the USA spec PA15-NIS. http://usaspec.com/product.php?ProductID=30

It sets up the ipod as a second CD changer. I work with my i touch 4 and it charges it no problem.

jus Thought I throw this out there. When I was looking for some info on it I could not find it. I have installed this into 2 G's with out the SAT radio and has worked with no problem.

The cable is really long. I have it coming out in the center arm rest. and there is still a lot left.

the SAT button i am talking about is one of the round buttons.

Mine reads

AM, FM, CD, TAPE.

some have

AM/FM as one, CD, TAPE and SAT

I did a DIY for the PA15-INFI install in my 05 sedan. Once you hook it up to your SAT receiver located in the trunk, pressing the RADIO button should produce the following options: XM1, XM2, AM, FM1, FM2. Your iPod/iPhone will play on either of the XM channels. Check the USASPEC website for compatibility and whether or not your make and model come pre-wired for SAT.
