Any update on the Armstrongs?

How'd you install them since they're once piece?

They're getting harder to find. Only found them on e-bay?

I got mine from mynismo.com a couple years ago (or more? can't remember)... they are on back-order now, but looks like CZP and nissanraceshop.com have 'em.
I just ordered a pair of these off ebay for $45 shipped.

Those Nismo bushings are for the lower control arm inner bushing, NOT the compression rod bushing (which is what this post is about). Nismo doesn't make a compression rod bushing.

Holy thread revival, but...for people reading this and looking to replace their compression rod bushings (and expounding upon the previous post):

There are 2 lower control arms.

One is called the transverse link (Nissan 54500 RH and 54501 LH), which has 2 bushings - an inner (which is replaced by Nismo 54560-RRZ30, incorrectly identified above as the compression rod bushing) and the outer, which is the shock/strut mount. The outer can be replaced by ES or Whiteline.

The second is what is called the compression rod (Nissan 54468N RH and 54469 LH), which has the inner bushing (which everyone seems to be replacing) and an outer ball joint (that is usually not replaced). These bushings can be replaced by ES or Whiteline kits available at CZP or Z1.

I bring this up because I am currently replacing my bushings and part numbers are being thrown around (eg Nismo 54560-RRZ30) for the wrong application. If you want to replace all of your bushings, great - you'll need those parts. But let's keep things straight so people buy the right stuff.

The ES and Whiteline kits have the LCA inner and outer as well as the Comp rod bush. Most kits have them all I think.

Anyway to also add to the info here. I replaced my OEM busted ones with the ADUS 560 Armstrong bushes. They are one piece with a metal cylinder which slips through the center and around the subframe stud. Press in the comp rod very easy, I used a press because it was there but a normal vice could slip these in very easily. There's no chance of them slipping out or deforming heavily like the 2 part ones.

Also, an important point for me as well as many others. Absolutely no noise coming from these. I just used the supplied grease, greased as instructed and pressed in with the orientation as instructed. The guy I spoke to at Armstrong was very helpful.

The difference was obvious, steering tightened, highly recommended,

It's the people using bearing grease and silicone grease where very specific bushing grease is necessary that complain about noise. Good on you for using the right stuff.
