There is room to fit a muffler on the passenger side, mount the Evap box vertical, this way you will create enough room for a small Magnapack muffler.

Drone is when an exhaust frequency resonates through the cabin.

I'm running just one muffler on mine like the Motordyne TDX and it's pretty loud. There's drone, but it's nothing that can't be fixed Worst thing that happens is if it's too loud for you, just put some mufflers/resonators in.

I ran a Borla true dual into a Magnaflow resonated X pipe. That dumped into a Borla dual in/out muffler. That was about as loud as I could take. And there was a slight drone.

Gawd I'll miss that exhaust.

Going to switch to a single 3", which is perfect for a cammed NA car(cams coming this spring). And IMO, sounds better.
Stillen is much lighter than OEM... I'm not so sure about 3" being advantages, but it's not my car.

As for done/loud - any light-weight sound damping in the trunk will help alleviate that. I use B-Quiet mats (plus I'm just used to the sound by now).

the intake and plenum spacer will make the engine more throaty/grunt... but really won't affect the exhaust note.

Exhaust manifold & back will affect exhaust sound. The heavy OEM resonator is what keeps it quiet (and of course restrictive carts) - pretty much anything after-market will be notably louder... different designs will determine thin/deep/drone/rasp... and of course some have better performance than others. IMO it's futile to sound loud and be slow (most worth-while exhaust mods are loud because they work - not because loud is cool).

^that sounds great! I guess loud is subjective because i had a chance to hear and ride in a g35 with duals yesterday and to me, it didn't seem that loud, essentially right where i wanted it to be. But the owner didn't like the drone, so difference of opinions.

I replaced the muffler with a Magnaflow proper dual in/out, the Stillen has a single pipe in the middle. That made it really loud so I cut out the old x-pipe for a Magnaflow resonated one.

^i don't know if i'd call that a "true" dual considering the pipes share mufflers twice

You consider it a true dual only if the pipes are seperated the entire length of the exhaust?
