no, crossover's that promote scavenging are fine

From a quick glance, that's what that guy is doing. Two magnaflow resonated X pipes.

just posting my personal opinion, not trying to discredit his or anyone else work. in my eyes, his setup, stock Borla, stock Stillen are all dual path not true dual, that's just me though.

Is it the rear muffler that's the deal breaker for you?

nah, the combination of a resonated-x and the single dual in/out. a res-x is better than an H or no crossover at all BUT it also compromises the scavenging due to the fact that the gasses are slowed back down a bit due to them being able to escape into the resonator vs a "hard" x-pipe. in the rear same thing, the perforations in the muffler combine the two pipes.

Now I see what you mean. Okay, I can see that. I don't think flow is impeded. I remember reading that the pressure though a straight through muffler was almost nothing.

2.25" from the cats to the Magnaflow resonated x in the middle and 2.5" to the magnaflow mufflers on each side in the back. I am running this with headers and HFC's and it is loud but not obnoxious. I can try to take some videos if that would help you make your decision

I would love cams but I never got a tune when technoSquare still supported the doggy door sedans. If you know of another option other than a full standalone ecu please share.. I've been out of touch with the forum for the past few months. And back on topic I should be able to get a video up sometime tomorrow.

i have a stillen "TD" version 1 exhaust and i dont have any drone and i love the sound. it has a nice deep tone until i get past 3k rpm and then it gets nice and loud. Like SDGenius (Mark) said its a dual path and not true dual. The sound is amazing all the way to 7k rpm.
