clutch problems

So take this scenario.. 1st gear, clutch all the way down.. my car is still rolling????? This is a problem because now im having trouble shifting into gear, if the car is started and in nuetral I cannot shift into gear at all. I have a stage 2 clutch and stage 2 flywheel. Got it installed professionaly.. anybody else having these problems?? and can someone help

I do not understand at all what you're saying. The car is stuck in gear? (you start the car, and as soon as you release the clutch the car trys to move, even though you put the shifter in neutral)

Or the clutch doesn't disengage? (The car is in neutral but stepping on the clutch pedal doesn't make a difference, you can't put it in gear because when you try the gears just 'grind' no matter if you're on the clutch pedal or not)

Tell me which scenario it is.

more like the second scenario.. Like when I drive and Im rolling along maybe stopping at a stop sign ,, if I put it in nuetral and then try to shift to first the car wont let me,,, its like im still stepping on the accelerator.. and yes it grinds when I do this and it takes a lot of force to get it in gear. like the car,, with the clutch all the way down, no acceleraiton will start moving like im pushing down on the gas some, but im not.

Sounds like one of two things, both would mean yo'ure going back to the shop that installed the clutch:

1. Your clutch isn't disengaging/engaging properly, this could be a few things from throwout bearing to clutch fork to slave cylinder to clutch itself

2. Your shifter assembly is misalligned or damaged. This could be due to improper install, loose bolts, who knows.

Either wayif the clutch work was done recently take it back to the shop that did the work. They should at minimum check it for free, if not repair it for free.

If it's an issue of a faulty clutch, well, maybe you cheaped out on the clutch? You ddin't mention what clutch it was.

Its a Competition stage 2 clutch and flywheel

Well you can't rule out shatty clutch then. How many miles/how old?

the car has 83000 miles on it,, but the new clutch and flywheel have maybe 1500 miles

I know exactly what you mean except I still have stock clutch. When Im going anywhere above 2 miles an hour, I literally have to jam the shifter into first and I don't know why. Only at a deadstop and like 2 mph and under shifts in smoothly.

LOL no offense by why are you even posting? Take it back to the shop, it's on them. And the clutch is still under warranty if installed by a professional shop.

Kind of a no brainer with that miniscule amount of mileage since the swap, unless you think you personally broke something due to misuse?

no. all i have is the new clutch and flywheel, headers, and cold air intake.
