oem 18" wheel setup help please

Hey everyone I'm in the process of putting rims on my car and im having a little issue. Before I get slammed yes i have looked at the sticky about wheel and tire setups but there was no answer to my question. So i purchased wheels for my 04 sedan and the wheels are oem 18x7.5 which I think were from a sedan guy i bought it from had an eclipse now I'm repainting the wheels and I'm in need of tires I was wondering what's the widest tire that i can put on the rear without any rubbing issues I was thinking 245-40 but I'm worried about rubbing help please

You would be fine with a 245 tire. They are sedan 18's right?

245 for a 7.5 tire is not recommended... generally 235 is the widest recommended.

HOWEVER.... I put 245 on a 7.5.... and so far so good... although I'm sure there will be some tread wear repercussions later on lol

OB '04 Coupe Premium w/Performance Wheel & Tire
Athose are 03-04 coupe wheels with stats of 18x8 +30, and yes a 245 will fit on it.
