Question Would it look sick on my sedan?

Hey guys,

I'm a new member here.. I'm thinking to have a paint job next week and kinda deciding on a specific color.. Color code is 8U1, which is a lexus is350 blue color.. and for the wheels, I'm gonna paint them grey mett as the Lexus comes from the factory. Here is the link of the color

http://www.google.com/imgres?q=is350...t:429,r:14,s:0

Any additional idea will be appreciated..

im pretty sure the cost would be more expensive than that blue but if its being covered why not? would definitely be something super unique. im sure it would look amazing.

I surely agree with ya.. It will cost another $300-500 to have that color. Just took a quote.

I would stick with blue since it's different and I never seen any sedan done it yet

IMO, that look has been played out in every car scene.

Just my $0.02.

I think it would look nice. Have you looked at the Nissan blues at all, the ones used on the 350zs and 370zs? Those are nice as well. Are you getting aftermarket wheels or just painting stock wheels? I still like the gunmetal with the polished lip look and think it looks real good on a blue car.

I looked at the Z blue but i think this one has more pearl. That's my main reason to have it.. I'm painting my Rays 19" with the same grey color on the lexus.. but i'm planning to have a 20's by the spring and looking into the polished lip.

That is as close to a Candy as a Pearl can get IMO, it's gorgeous on the Lexus, but that's also a $8000 paint job if you get it done properly.

If anyone is quoting less than that, you're wasting your money and won't get the quality of paint ont he Lexus.

My buddy is gonna do it for 4k for labor and materials. it's gonna take about 2 weeks to get it done. I know he's got the best body-shop in town and pretty confident about the quality. I know it won't be as good as the dealership, but at least very close to their job.

I can't wait to get it done!!
