Is there a black 03/04 sedan with a nismo rear lip that we can compare it to?

That's the ionic rear lip. It doesn't fit that well. I should know cuz I installed it. Let me know James and I'll get you one of the strafe lips

The strafe lip for 03/04 doesnt fit our cars at all unless you add two inches to the lip. I thought the ionic lip fit pretty good when I did a test fit yesterday.

 

daymn ^^^ i have the same car and that trunk lip just looks to sick I have the aero package with the spoiler brake light would love to do the strafe trunk lip how is the fitment just wondering i saw some people had bad fitment issues with the strafe bumpers

 

I also like their trunk lip but I personally would not get anything from strafe anymore from my experience with them. If there is an issue with a product, GOOD LUCK! Plus I believe they might have been been banned from this forum for now.

 

I have the 05/06 rear on my 04

 

The "Strafe" rear Nismo lip you are speaking of is likely the one made by VIS which was based on the JDM shorty bumper; that is why it doesn't fit a USDM 03/04 Sedan. I don't even know why VIS sells this in the US since it doesn't fit our cars, not even close. Its common knowledge on the forum that the VIS lip doesn't fit our cars, not sure why Strafe even carried it, at least not without a disclaimer that it will require significant modifiaction to fit.

Heard what is expensive, an 05/06 rear bumper? You can get one off eBay for less than $200 or cheaper if you are patient.

 

New they're about $200something they come unpainted but primer ready. Hit up TONY AT OC INFINITI =)
