I'm sure he'd sell, will need a few spots on it cleaned up which he can do as well if needed...i may later this month after i see how the nismo sides line up with the 05/06 rear here in a week or so

 

I'd love to have a 05-06 rear lip. Imma wait till I see what the painted and fitted ones look like installed. But I may miss my splash guards hah

 

I bought a nismo lip from strafe for an 04 . It was about an inch to short on both sides. My body guy could not get it to fit. I guess that is the down side of buying after market stuff.

 

The Nismo lip you bought was likely the one made by VIS. They based their design of the 03-04 Nismo lip on the V35 Skyline Sedan, which has the "JDM shorty" bumper that is why it was too short. It will not fit USDM Sedans (not unless you swap to a JDM shorty bumper or heavily modify the lip itself).

I just emailed strafe. I hope they will give me a refund. That definitely explains why it didnt fit. You would think they would have already known this before they shipped it out.

 

Agreed, its common knowledge on the forum (and elsewhere) that the VIS Nismo rear lip doesn't fit USDM Sedans.

 

Sucks to hear that. And from a buyers perspective. It sucks because we know the vendors are aware of this. Yet he still decided to ship a VIS rear lip.

 

The link you posted was for the front lip but I know ionic has a rear lip. I will have to get the ionic rear lip then. Strafe and VIS are the same? Maybe I should already know this

Strafe and VIS are not the same, they are different companies. Many of the body kit vendors on here get some of their parts from VIS.

 

for example strafe.. they do get some products from VIS. if im not mistaken Baus automotive too. im saying some not all.

 

Correct both Strafe and BAUSauto get parts from VIS.
