I was curious to see if anyone knew what the most HP upgrades could be done to the stock 5AT transmission before the power became detrimental to the transmission. Of course, this implies that the driver did not go too crazy with the car. Thanks in advance for all feedback and insight!

 

Stock transmissions are good even with all bolt ons and a tune, or in other words <300wtq - yes, torque. Torque is a much bigger killer of transmissions. If you're curious when you'll reach that amount of torque in relation to hp, around 320-340whp. Once you cross into that land, usually only achievable via FI, you need to invest in a tranny cooler, grounding kit, and valve body upgrade.
