Hey guys I am new here and i bought my g today.(only 100k)

I have a few minor cosmetic problems (dents, scratches, one small rust spot)
and one the tail light one of the smaller lights in the group is out. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? Or any easy way to get the dents out?

I had a problem with the engine when i first picked it up, (i know i didn't get screwed-over because i know the guy..) It drove home just fine then at the top of my street the engine lost most of the power. The gas was almost on empty and i managed to get home, i filled her up and still same problem no power from the engine.. the engine maintenance light was on. I reved the engine a little bit and it worked just fine, but the light was still on. I know it may have just been the gas but the light remained on, I really don't think it was the transmission. I left it at the shop today to get that light checked out and i was just wondering if any of you guys had this issue? Does the gas need a while to feed to the engine after filling? Thank You

 

um.. you need to check the code that the engine is throwing .. you'll know what it is from doing so..

 

Mass airflow sensor? Sounds like what happened to me with my G20

 

i do not have the car at a home because it is in the shop, but i think it said something like "check engine soon"

 

^What he said about the engine. It could be lots of things... Have your mechanic give you the error code and then search it here to get more info.
