Z tube and Stillen Cold Air intake install

Well as my title said I just installed both the Z tube and the Stillen Cold Air intake on my 04 G35 6 speed. As far as performance goes It feels a little peppier, but the growl at WOT make it all worth it. I can just see my gas mileage plummiting.

The only issue I had with the install was trying to get the cold air box bolted in, the guy that put that in must have hands the size of a 2 year old. It took me hours of swearing and brused arms to get that stupid bolt in.

I'm now thinking of adding a Y pipe what would everyone recommend?

Matt

That bolt is a big PITA, but if you take off the wheel well which is easy, that bolt is no biggie. Don't forget to reset your ECU.

I didn't even bother with that bolt. When I added my HKS exhaust to the car after the
Stillen CAI/Ztube, the intake seemed to calm down, more air in -> then more out. Also
felt a kick in the pants boost in HP

Sorry no pics yet. If I get home at a reasonable hour I'll take some tonight.

Man I didn't even think to try and take the wheel well out. I should have posted a thread "what should I need to know to install a Z tub and CIA?"

Now to reset the ECU I just pull the battery for an hour or so right? Cause that is what I did.

Cato, I about threw the bolt in the trash and just said screw it, no pun intended, but I tried one more time and got it in, it may be cross threaded but it s in there tight as can be.
