How R stock 350z springs on stock g35 suspension?

Had my car lower on some tiens lowering springs before and went back to stock. I just pick up some rays and thinking about this set up. Don't want to spend too much money. Just seeing if any fellow g's out there has this set-up. Kind of going for the sport package look but they say with the 350z its a bit lower? any opinions out there?

The Z springs will give you an uneven drop. If you go that route get Z for the front and coupe springs for the rear. Still shouldn't cost a lot.

I've got the 06 revised springs/shocks ^^ he is right about the uneven drop but it looks much better than factory and the ride difference is noticeable but nothing to severe that you cant live with it.

I'm running Z springs in front and back, and I would say it's an even drop in relation to the ground...just not with the fender gaps since the front is cut larger

So OP it depends on whether you want the drop even with with the ground, or with the fender gaps. I'm running the 19" oem Rays too and lovee the look with the Z springs. I have a finger gap in the back and two in the front. I had the stock non sport suspension before and the Z/sport set up is soo much better

How's the ride with the Z springs all around? Do you guys think I'm better off with the teins lowering spring again?

First your going to want the G/Z setup your not gonna be able to tell if its an even match to the ground as much as your gonna to look like you got a load in the trunk..

When you go with 350Z fronts the spring rates are all the same and the same your G was.

314lb springs

2003/2004 Z springs - 1 pink dot and 1 orange dot.

And you should go with 2003-2004 un revised G coupe rear springs - 3 red dots

342lb springs

Now your dropped on the same spring rates your G Sedan Sport came with so the ride is virtually identical and your wheel gaps are perfect ( LIKE IT SHOULD OF BEEN STOCK ) Like the germans do..

No clue why Nissan cars outside of a small bunch ( Z / GTR ) always have jacked wheel gaps.

Is that the set up you have on right now in the picture? It looks really clean! Are you using stock suspension with those Z and coupe springs?

In that pic im using the G/Z Combo I detailed.. I did my research and read all the threads before doing it.

Its the exact spring rates just a little lower.. ALL OEM NO diff than stock when talking about ride harshness. Its the same spring rates if you do the exact combo I detailed above.

G springs in the front and Z spring in the rear on Tokico RED Sport Shocks. Running 245/45-18 in the front and 255/45-18 in the rear. Very nice, stiff/cushy ride with amazing handling (I prefer chunky tires for softer ride for families convenience). Just need swaybars to finish it up.

I went through this same discussion a while back. Z suspension is 1" all around. The perception is that it's uneven. However the reason for this is because the front wheel well is actually cut higher than the rear. The Z front + Coupe rear combo negates this, as the coupe drops it closer to .5" in the rear.

Check the tech/suspension area for lots of great info.

Exactly! Z/G Combo is the perfect drop.. Z/Z will look like you have a saggin *** a little, reverse rake... Makes for a poor stance, Its minor but its a difference.
