Also, I noticed on the Haltech site that it says MT only. Can someone confirm that this will work with AT?

2 more questions - need answered quickly

Does this completely replace factory ECU? Do I remove the factory ECU and put this in its place?

I have been having intermittent problems with limp mode, with no CEL. It happens when I drive my car hard for more than 10 minutes. I havent really been able to figure out exactly what causes it. It will go away if left for a few minutes

I have every breather mod you could mention - all the pipes going into the cylinders and all coming out, and my exhaust smells like a go kart after driving hard. Is it possible that a tune would fix this smell, and maybe get rid of my limp mode problems? I am baffled by the fact that I am not getting a CEL. So I feel like the problem might be one the designers of the car did not anticipate, such as people putting non OEM exhaust etc.

5/16" Spacer, Fast Intentions HFCs, Borla TD Exhaust w/ magnaflow X-pipe, Top Speed headers, Stillen CAI, 3.7 FD, VLSD.

I think thats everything as far as power is concerned.

No, this is a piggy back. The stock ECU stays where it is, this hooks up 'in-line' with it.

As for your smell, I'm working on a way to get rid of it, it's becuase you took the cats off primarily.

but there's been some speculation that the primary cause for the smell is the stock Crank-case recirculation. Thusly a Catch can setup might take care of the smell,
Grab your my350z.com log-on and step in, I'm installing my CCV in a couple hours and I'll chime in there:

If your car is a 03 Coupe then you do not need this special version of this system. (going by your sig) edit reading more into it you said your using osiris right now, so this def is not the system you need. The ECU this is for Osiris does NOT work with. Thats the whole point of this special system.

This is for 03 Sedans with Auto trans only. And not a lot of them even are this grey plug.

you can use maf , map, tps for load source, tune with VE, Injection time, and Lambda corr.

most haltech tuned will tune with map and in VE.
