loose steering and clunk

Hey guys just wondering if anyone had this problem. My steering wheel is loose and if I'm stopped and turn my wheels I get a clunk that feels like its riggt behind my steering wheel. It's an 03 sedan. Any input is good at this point. Thank

Its probably your tie rods. Jack up the front end and get under your car - you can feel if there is any slop and will know which ones are bad.

Normally the infiniti symbol is facing up on your wheel with the shape to put your hands at 9,3 well now my infiniti symbol is facing all the way to the right so a half a turn of the wheel out. If that makes any sense to you lol. If I want it to be back to normal I have to sit and crank my wheel until it clunks a few times and bam back to normal. Will tie rods cause this problem too ????

Yes tie rod problems can throw your alignment off
