Tint Waiver

Finally got my tint Waiver, I suffer from Extreme Photophobia.

Now I have to decide between 21% or 35% All around

So you had to claim a medical condition in order to be allowed to go beyond legal tint limits? Seems a little extreme.

I'd just live with a ticket every few years or so.

Where I live if you get a ticket for tint you also have to get your car re-inspected at the state DMV to see if you took the tint off. So you get a tint plus have to reinstall it until you get stopped again. You must have alot of time and money on your hands.

Little money and even less time. They don't hassle you for tiny around here. I had 18% rear passenger doors and rear window and 25% driver doors on my Accord. Drive it like that for seven years and never got a ticket. Got pulled over once and received a warning, but here you are not required to prove that you have it removed so I just took my chances and left it on.

That's cool. Ever area is difference and requires different methods for your own convenience.

if you can legally do 21%, i'd go with that. 20% all around is perfect.

When I had 1.8% tint (inspected at DMV) on my Maxima, I got a ticket every couple years. Was easier to swap windows with friends than to rip the tint off. After inspection and proving the court I passed inspection, I didn't have to pay any ticket. Sold the car before I was able to buy an extra set of windows.

I'm stuck btw 21 and 35. I have a blk car with blk inside plus I want to tint the windshield. I might do 35. I'm sure the other factors will bring down the shade.

Where are you from

In california, medical conditions aren't excuses to have tint. Even if sunlight causes your skin to bubble and burn and cause death, they don't care.
