Painted or Powdercoated Coupe 19's?

Hey all, new to the forum and my G. Anywho, I just got a set of Coupe 19's and I am going to be either powdercoating or water transfer printing them. I have 2 questions

1) I tried searching the forum for pics of different color coupe 19's and came up pretty short. Anyone seen any on here?

2) My car is an 05 Lakeshore Slate and I'm kind of on the fence of what color would look good. I'm open to suggestions. I was thinking Black, white, top secret gold, or possibly gold carbon fiber. So any pics of LS with different colored wheels would be cool too. I've already looked thru the LS thread but didn't see much other than brushed or polished silver wheels.

Thanks for any help or suggestions. I'm enjoying this site so far.

Just wondering: any reason you dont want to save for a different set of rims instead of painting some stock ones?

Short answer I really like the coupe 19's.... But they are used and one wheel has a few curb rash spots. So while I have them off the car I might as well refinish them to something of my liking.

Thanks for the helpful response.

I think silver or white will look best on LS. There are some guys on here with LS sedans with silver accents and it looks pretty good.

I have an '06 LS Sedan with stock color coupe 19's. I think these look good as is or painted a 'graphite' from duplicolor wheel paint. There are several threads on how to do this. I'm considering doing mine as they are not in great shape, but ok for now. I've also hear the plasti dip method is good as you can 'peel' it off later....

Especially with machined lip. I also think LS with machined lip would fly.

That's an interesting idea, I like the idea of having the face/lip be 2 different colors. Not sure how the LS lip would look tho

Personally I think black face is played out in the worst way. And when you have nice rims with good curves and natural shine, it's just plain dumb to hide them away with black.

Those G coupe rims are timeless and beautiful, please don't defoul them by painting them black. Every time I see a set of these or the 7 spoke coupe 18"'s painted black or plastidipped, etc, I die a little inside

I like them the way they look naturally too, but they have some dings/pealing of the stock finish.
