Major problems after 100k?
My car has just over 100k miles which makes me worry. I like to accelerate somewhat hard (at least what I would consider hard). I drive about 20 miles each day and I probably floor it about once a month. I do a mixture of highway/city and every time I accelerate I rev it up to 3500rpm to 4500rpm. Am I hurting my car? I don't want to start burning oil or anything.
Also, my brakes have 6000 or 7000 miles and if I brake not hard but not lightly then I experience slight warping behavior. I'm confused because I don't even brake hard.

Rotors don't warp in the traditional sense. When you brake the rotors get hot. If the rotors get hot and you keep the pedal pressed, like at a stop light, pad material gets deposited in the spot they sat on the pad. This then causes a pulsing when the brakes are applied and the pads go over the material deposited on the rotors.

I have the occasional hard brake if the light turns quickly or something but never high speed hard braking. My engine burns about 1/2 quart between oil changes and the transmission is rough from park to reverse and 1st to 2nd when cold. ALL maintenance has been recently performed. Any input or am I just paranoid?

My compression rods were making noise each day on several different occasions so I took it to my mechanic and asked him to check them out. He inspected the whole thing and told me that the suspension in the car was in great shape, including the compression rod bushings. So I sprayed some heavy duty lubricant in there and the noises have been gone for 4+ months now. Obviously the bushings don't need replacing, they just needed lubrication.
