Quote: Been corresponding with my salesperson about you this morning, Rhino, telling him that someone else had just taken delivery of my exact option package set-up and that I wanted to see if we could shorten the delivery period.

He said he looked in their inventory database and there's not a single silver/premium B/sport/aero package in our geograpic region (I'm in Dallas) so if I wanted to accelerate the process he'd have to find it in another region and I'd have to foot the transportation costs.

Waiting to hear back how much that would be. Dang but my impatience is gonna cost me $$$.
Impatience is what got me in my TL disaster so if you can stand it sit tight and good things will happen for you I'm sure. To clarify one thing though, the aero kit on my car is simply the rear spoiler and side diffusers not the full package (incl. side sills and front lip spoiler) that I think you are looking for.

GeauxG35 I just went to Infiniti.com and did a build & locate on our specific car. The only one that came up was oddly enough, my car (VIN#) at my local dealer so they apparently haven't updated. I also searched all dealer inventory within 150 mi. of where I am and could find no exact matches. You could always go out of territory, fly cheaply and drive it back if you can find one.

Quote: When I was at the dealer last night I looked at this and about 1/2 had NCT5 and half had ER33's. I asked the salesperson why and he was clueless. I didn't think it was a big deal so I left it alone.

Well the tread pattern is very different. I've so far had great traction w/ the NCT5. With all of the torrential rain we've had here the past 3 weeks in socal, I must say these have performed great for summer tires. Only saw the slip light a couple of times and held up well against hydroplaning (45MPH up to 65MPH) during relatively heavy downpours.

I'm still waiting for people to chime in on their findings for this particular tire.

Great pics, Rhino.
No, I'm with you on the package. I had originally ordered the full aero kit (not just the aero package (spoilers + diffusers) but dropped it in the last day or so once I saw pics of it and didn't care for it. Just the aero package for me now. The only difference from yours will be I've added splash guards (available once I dropped the aero kit) and the sunroof wind deflector.

Quote: After 12 mos. my driver's seat leather was stretched out and looked like an oversize sock over the padding. The G35 feels much more sturdy, hopefully it holds up better over the long term.
After 14 months and 14k, my seats still look and feel great, I am happy with it!

Rhino,
Welcome to the forum! Just a quick question. Considering you were driving the 6 speed TL, why did you opt for an auto G35? Was it because you needed to get into another car right away and no MT G35s were available, or was there a different concern or consideration? You live in a beautiful part of the country (my brother was in Matthews - Charlotte for nearly 20 years) and the roads are generally in great condition. You would have loved the G35 6MT. JUst curious.

As much I loved being connected to the drive with my 6MT, I could never quite get used to the jerkiness of the shifts. I take clients and friends out a lot and had to actually concentrate on my shift releases so they had a smooth ride. I've had manuals my whole life but for some reason the short shifts of the Acura and G35's gave me problems so I opted for the AT instead. A little more disconnected from the road but G35 AT delivers a lot of juice to the tires so it feels very sporty.

Post pics when you get it, I'd love to see the car with the splash guards.
