What's up everyone! Just thought I'd introduce myself, the name's Derek, I'm 18 and I live in Ohio. I did own a 2004 Nissan Maxima, but unfortunately I totaled it last month in a fairly bad accident, but everyone was okay so that's all that matters! I made a good amount of money off of my car, so I decided to upgrade. A few weeks ago I purchased my 2003 Infiniti g35 sedan, unfortunately it's not a manual, or a coupe, like I wanted. oh well, it's still an awesome car. Anyway, got my first speeding ticket today, so it's a good way to break in the new car... not really, but let's stay positive... can't wait to get to know you all!

I have a Cobra radar detector, but I wanted to learn to law for the radar types in Ohio first, before I put it in. As for mods, nothing yet, but suggestions are always welcome!

Nothing specific, just anything to make the car unique. And probably not much, I learned my lesson with the Maxima, I put 2k into it, and crashed it, got nowhere near my moneys worth out of those parts.

Welcome Derek.
Take it from someone who sped all the time and got tickets left and right... you DO NOT want to lose your driver's license man.
I went a whole year without it, due yourself the biggest favor and keep it cool.
Also... locate the VDC button, make sure it's on, and forget it exists.

+1. If this is your first rwd car, would be pretty careful with that vdc. The better your throttle control, the less it'll kick in. You can actually get a little throttle steer before the vdc cuts in if you are very careful, think of it like a learning aid. It only seriously cuts off your power if you manhandle your throttle at the wrong time.
