Tanabe Exhaust on...all smiles!!

So now i see why this exhaust is loved so much!! at first i was skeptical as to installing it being i already scratch my oem exhaust...so this hung a lot lower!! but wow..this paired with the hr y pipe and ART pipes..its the best sound ever!! i will be planning to do the 3/4 inch cut on the hanger as marcus did to give me the extra clearance in the very near future..here are some quick pics i took and will post a vid tomorrow probably..driving just got that much better!!

Looks great but at that height you probably already scraped it (o^.')b
Does it get 3/4 inch higher with the cut? Can't wait to see and hear the exhaust.

I love the sound of the Tanabe, but like social said I'm not a fan of the look of the muffler.

Thanks guys and Yea..I'm with you guys on that...2 escapes gives the car a cleaner look as opposed to one big canister but sound is great and I picked this up for dirt cheap! I couldn't pass it up...so far no scrapes...yet!!!

I love the fat can look lol..always have but i understand its not for everyone. I had the exhaust shop add a piece to use the factory rear mount on the muffler which raised it up i say about an inch.

Welcome to the club. I absolutely love the sound of this exhaust. I can't wait to hear it with the ART pipes. I've been wanting to get a set myself, but being AWD it doesn't quite fit. I'm curious to see what you do to raise it up.

Looks great!!!!!!

I too love my Tanabe! I have the Z HR y-pipe to go along with it and it sounds great, plus there is no drone! The sound IMO has mellowed a bit since the install, but like P10 WRC stated " I love how it is quite while cruising, but so beautiful when stepping on it"

About the look. There are after market dual tips mufflers that the tips get lost in a straight on from behind view because the tips side walls are too thin, not good IMO. This Tanabe look is aggressive and sweet to view at all angles.

Enjoy, I am!!!!

Love it, but I'm a little baised since I too have the Tanabe.

Cutting and re-welding the hangers will make it fit a lot better, defintely do it when you find the time.
