Cool Looking for travel tips, X with Uhual trailer

Hello yall,
So as the title says I am leaving Atlanta, Georgia Saturday to move with a 4x8 U-haul trailer to Portland, Oregon in an attempt to not bum off the government for unemployment
(job offer). Any who I've towed trailers with trucks but never with a car, and never 2400 miles across country... so, is there anything I need to be aware of or that i'm more prone to happening? Any states i need to be particularly careful of speeds? (plan to keep a steady 70mph, except where not permitted obviously ha) 12-14 hour day drives...should take about 4 days.
Thanks for any help, heres a picture if you were curious what it looks like

Only thing i would be careful about is monitoring the tranmission temp. I know we don't have a temp gauge, but I'm pretty sure the engineers at nissan didn't envision people towing 1000+ lbs cross country. Maybe stop every 500-700 miles and let it cool down. Good luck.

Well unless you have a CONSULT diagnostic tool, you can't determine the temp in real time. I'm just saying, our transmissions weren't built for towing duty so just be careful. I'm sure someone with 'towing' experience in their G will chime in.

I would go to a transmission shop and get a transmission cooler installed. It shouldn't be no more than about $150 plus the special nissan fluid to top it off with.

Also be cautious about your speed and braking those uhauls can get some serious tank slappers. And watch your tire pressure on the trailer tiny tires plus low pressure = blow out. As far as speed just watch the signs if it says 55 , then do 60 cops won't tag you for 5 over except in california.

Its close to that with quality parts with a DIY install, Id say 250+ at a shop, our cars do have some towing capacity albeit light, only 1000 lbs

the 4x8 is 850 lbs empty, sooo yea your getting pretty close.

I am not sure where the 1000 lbs limitation comes from though, brakes unibody....? I wouldn't go too much over

Edit: check the section towards the end in the Manual it talks all about towing a trailer.
