I brought my 03.5 6MT sedan in for a grind in 5th. They ordered me a new transmission and gave me a loaner. Took it to Metro Infiniti in Monrovia. The service manager David Tanner is kinda nice, but he tries to say that everything is normal and that rattles are normal, etc, etc. Really annoying. But the service guy, Brian, was really nice. He heard the grind and immediately said "new trans." No problems with him. I dont know if they will fix my rattles, but they said they will try.

Also, Brian said that it is impossible for us to get the 05 mods on our cars. =( but who knows,hopefully hes wrong.

 

I just got my car back. They gave me a new transmission and a new clutch. How can i tell which revision of the tranny they gave me?

This new clutch is a bit stiffer when i step on it, but it grabs much better. and the New tranny is kinda bad because its difficult to shift into 5th gear. Anyone else notice this?
