Don't know this for a fact, however, since Bel and Escort are the same company, they most likely use the same kind of cord, a common phone plug. Send an emai to invisicord, they will know.

I always say I'm gonna buy a V1 the "next time" and I never do, I just can't bring myself to spend that much. But like some say, it's really not that much more.

Why do they like them so much, IMO, it's because the don't break. I have had 6 Escort RD and all but two (the original passport and the 9500 I have now and it's getting hinky) have stopped working. I have NO complaints about WHAT they do, just how long they do it.

If you drive with the flow a traffic you wont have a problem. Stop speeding so obviously and maybe you wont need a detector. If your in a area your use to slow down. Look how the traffic response ahead of you.

Dude. If you have never sped in your life.. well I guess you win. But most people, at some point or another end up speeding. Me on the other hand, I do it a lot. Especially on highways. And thats why I am getting this. I am a safe driver but that doesn't mean I don't like to have fun everyone once and a while.

I don't consciously speed anymore. I get on the highway and set the cruise control and listen to the news and drink a cup of coffee. I keep an Escort to keep me honest. I might be day dreaming coming home from work (53 miles one way) and forget to slow down coming into town soon enough. I want to know where the po po is so I don't get a green stamp. I'm not using it to "avoid traffic enforcment" because I am a habitual speeder. But I used to be when I was 16 to 45. Hell I got three tickets in three weeks when I was 17 and my girlfriend had to drive us to the prom. Not to bad a deal, she had a 1966 Chevelle SS 396

Have fun with calibration issues on belscort units (crystal tuning). Enjoy the delayed Instant On (IO) reaction that most cops use on a daily basis. Enjoy not having the capability of situational awareness and differentiate between a 2 false k band like a door and a k band threat like a cop all three at the same time (bogey counter). Enjoy looking all around for the source of the threat while I can pinpoint it and move away from the source if it is behind me or to the side while you slow down. Lastly don't forget with Crystal tuning on the latest valentine 1 your unit will stay in spec and within the range of tuning for much much longer than traditional units. Almost forgot with the concealed display I can keep the unit out of thieving eyes and the heat while having the unit right in front of me.

INSTANT ON TESTING...ALL GREEN MEANS WIN!!

Latest ESP, Crystal tuning is HW 1.85 FW 3.893

This is how every dash cluster should look like for you to be able to focus on the road and focus on the threat. keep your eyes on the road and peek down to get your speed, rpm (manual here so rpm matters versus just pushing the AUTO pedal), radar info and dummy lights.

Edit: You can get a Valentine for $359 with 1 yr warranty and no tax since it is Ohio. You will get a 30 day return unit and they will update to latest firmware and will check calibration before releasing. If you order a 30 day return and they have none in stock.....well then you get brand new for a discount like I did. Factor in that I can sell a 2 yr old valentine on ebay for $380-$400 and they you will see why valentine is regarded so highly due to resale. if you are willing to ship internationally then you will come out like a bandit.

Idk what all that bs is. All I know is that the GX65 works and it is 300 dollars cheaper. I don't need the fanciest and most expensive equipment out there. Only someone who doesn't know what a cop car looks like would.

oh you will soon find out the difference between a low end detector that just alerts you to let you know you are about to be pulled over versus having 1.0+ mile range detection to slow down ahead of time. Also the latest valentine is $359 - $300 = $59 for a GX65...hmmm where can i find a $59 GX65

Edit: Also for you carelessness you are to blame. Read the damn chart and see where you GX65 ranks it only picks up 5/24 hits on instant on and 15/24 at the best case. Valentine gets 24/24...each time instant on is used valentine reacts quickest and picks it up each time. Being able to pick out scatter instant on is precious...enjoy the tickets and post up how soon you get one.

gx65's are not low end detectors. A low end detector wouldn't be 300 bucks. They might not be as good as the valentine one but it's good enough. It has really good reviews and thats all I care about.

And how do I know that this chart of yours is even accurate. This whistler thing is only $140. That seems pretty low end to me. Yet it is at the top of the list.

Go through all the test and see the difference between range, instant on, stealth spectre immunity, lidar performance, scatter range and off axis.
