Painting Calipers... Black or Red?

Well, it's probably just me, but I kind of feel that anything that is all show and no go; anything that doesn't help your car around the track is more or less rice. If you go out and play with your car anyway, you're going to want good pads. Good pads dust. Your calipers will turn purple/brown in like 10 min. Why bother.
But if you think it looks nice, and you enjoy looking at it, that's cool too, all the more power to you, just know *I* will LOL when i see your car.

Some cars come with red calipers on STOCK brakes AFAIK, SRT4, MKIV R32, MKV GTI. They are RED painted calipers from the factory.
Nothing will happen to your calipers in 10 minutes on the track, your fluid might boil away, your rotors could warp and MAYBE in extreme cases your pads can break into 2 ( heard of it once).
Think about it, if you picked a G35 sedan, MOST likely racing or going to the track isn't #1 or #2 or even 3 on your list. If you wanted the same drivetrain, you should of bought a 350z. While most of mods are mainly for power increase or handling, its geared towards street performance and not track performance. The show mods like bumpers, seats and painting things are just as enjoyable.
