Is the coupe louder than the sedan?
I know this may be a stupid question, but are the G35 coupes louder than the sedans?
I ask because my next door neighbor has a coupe and it's pretty loud when he steps on the gas (I like the sound). It even wakes me up in the morning when he goes to work. His coupe is totally stock, 2004 model I believe.
Mine is all stock, and it is a 2006 sedan.
So out of curiosity, is this normal or how it is supposed to be? I wouldn't mind a louder exhaust :P

midpipe is different and i think it is louder. you can obtain the same tone and deeper growl with a coupe midpipe if you can get one for cheap. if not you can get an axle back or if you want to spend the money a cat back. my friend with a sedan has an hks axle back with another aftermarket y pipe and another brand of midpipe to somewhat "customize" his tone. youtube clips can give you SOME idea of what it might sound like but until you hear it in person, it doesn't provide justice for the exhausts. imo my stillen cat back sounds very little like the youtube clips lol depending on other mods and mic quality

I may want it.., how much?
the sedan was made to be quieter the midpipe is the biggest difference as well as the y pipe (it's more restrictive I think)
I have a pilot motorsports axel back on mine with a kinetix racing v + plenum on my sedan and it sounds pretty nice to me. but I cant to get a full cat back some day I just haven't decided which one. there is a link up above in the sticky section of most of the exhaust options out there.
