I understand your dilemma. No one should have to put up with poor service. Maybe it was an isolated incident, and you just got some one on the wrong day of the week. The only other time I went to Meridien for warranty work, was for peeling paint on the Infiniti insigna in the front. They looked at it and promptly told me they would order the piece and call me when it would arrive. The piece was recieved in less than one week, and the installation took 15 minutes. By the way the day of my 6000 kilometer service I also had them do the anti-rust treatment. They gave me a QX4 (not as nice as a g35 but acceptable), and called me when the car was ready, and when I recieved my car it had been washed, and the winter mats had been cleaned. Which I thought was nice. I can't explain the difference in price for the oil change but I would suggest you call one or two of the other Infiniti dealers to see what they charge. In the mean time don't worry too much about the umbrella (but insure you get one sent to you) and enjoy your G35. By the way what colour is yours ? Mine is dark blue (no rear spoiler) and just got my windows tinted.

I receive a called from my dealer today. They told me that they've received the umbrella and I just have to take it or they will deliver it to me. So it seems that I was all wrong with my dealer. They respect their engagements and I can trust them after all.
