I'll have to contest most opnion here. Frankly the 5-spoke was one reason I DID NOT get the sports package. IMO they look overdone (and somewhat fake with all the detailing). The 6-spoke are clean and straight forward... at least that's what I was looking for.

Gee Spot, I agree 100%. The 6 spoke match the G better and are very unique. The 5 spoke looks too small for the car making the rims look like they're 15" rims. The 5 spoke would look better if the spokes were tapered outward and 1 or 2 inches bigger. Also the 6 spoke rims are lighter than the 5 spoke.

I may be wrong but doesn't the MT6 have the 5 spoke rims and the AT has the 6 spoke? I know mine has the 17" 5 spoke wheels and they look great.
The car does have a much sportier look with the Aero or spoiler package.

Re: 5 or 6 spoke wheels - which do you prefer?
mbarrad, you helped me lock in on another reason I didn't care for the 5 spokers. They didn't look right to my eyes and I thought it was just that 5 spoke boring thing, but you are right - the 5 spoke wheels just look too small on this car - kinda like those tiny little rims some of the hispanic boys are so fond of running.
But again, to each his own. I am glad we don't all have the same rims so there is some variance from car to car. Of course in my home area I very rarely see another G35 (unless I go to Charlotte) so individuality is not really an issue yet.
