Airbag light is flashing

I am a new owner of a 2004 g35 sedan and noticed (after I bought the car, of course) that the airbag light is flashing. Before I take it to the stealership is there any stupid easy solutions? ie a fuse or sensor I can change on my own?

thx!

Well checking fuses is probably a good idea regardless. Call up the dealership and give them the Vin, see if the recall work is up to date.

You have to put the airbag in diagnosis mode and read the code of the blinks.
The blinks will direct you to the problem and hopefully you can save some money. The dealer charges $125 to do this when u can read it urself.

Read the link below and follow it. Look at the different Patterns and find what one you have. The best one is 2sec off 3 on. Just means you need to clear the memory.
