I burst my engine Block

I was driving one night and I heard a loud sound out of my hood. I stop open the hood and I saw oil on the ground.couple metres bacl the was the rathle arm in two piece on the road.why and how could this happen?

Blew a rod maybe. NEw Motor!!

Low oil

But I ment I found the cunecting rod in two piece on the ground.

And should there be a light on the dash or soo ?

your luck the 100 shot of nos didnt blow the welds on the intake

Rods don't just snap. Its called abuse. If oils low you'll spin a bearing, not snap a rod.

with my limited knowledge of cars Ive seen rods being bent as the engine sucks up water in rainy conditions.

Thats one occasion Ive seen bent rods; as the driver continued to crank the engine and flooded it with water.

No guys there was no nos. All did to the car was have the K&N cool intake and the Magan racing exhaust.
