Am new G35 driver....quick question!

How is deal guys?

2005 G35
Above Average Condition
77K Mileage
Clean Title
Cash Price $10,000

Can a factory navigation be added to this car? It is a base version. I see several listings on Ebay for 05 Navi, how do we know which is compatible?

It can be added but its not worth it

you can get an aftermarket indash nav with better bluetooth, better ipod control and USB/SD support ans MUCH better sound.
The maps will be more up to date and just overall better.

If you want a nicer headunit look at the Pionner z130bt/Z140 or Kenwood 9980HD

Thanks for your advice bro! Do you think there will be compatible with a base version? I don't have the Bose premium sound system. Of the aftermarket ones you mentioned, which one is the best?

z130bt, Z140 or Kenwood 9980HD?

working without bose makes it a little easier. Less chance for error

any oft these will work.

What is your budget?
Remember that a dash kit is $200-300 for our cars.
Also know that if you order from crutchfield you can get the dashkit and wiring for $100 if you buy a radio from them.

unless im mistaken both the kenwood $1200 DNX7190HD and the $1300 dnx9990hd can work with the steering wheel controls, i think its something you have to buy with them if i remember . just google those 2 models and you find out for sure. plus both of these is way better than the stock navi imo

the newer 9990hd and the 1790hd kenwoods is both great the 9990 ia alittle better having alittle more eq and band setting and watts. nothing major everything else is the same as far as features goes. my x didnt come with navi so my route is the the 1790hd with the cmos 310 aka the kenwood backup camera which can work with both of those models.

personally.. if you want NAV, I would just add a 5" Garmin to the door where the factory NAV is..

I say this because the screen place when you get the JDM double-din will be "too low" for a NAV placement.

that's my personal opinion.. if you've noticed, all OEM NAV systems try to have a high NAV placement so your eyes won't have to travel far to see directions..

you also need the wiring harness for the radio and antenna adapter.
You can go to crutchfield.com or sonicelectronix.com and find the exact harness and adapter you need.
