The X's Y pipe is different bc of the transfer case. Other than that, the exhaust is the same as a RWD.

ztube is oem nissan 350z tube buyed from g35parts.com
nothing else was done to my intake all my mods are in the previous post:
Motordyne 5/16 basic plenum spacer buyed from g35parts.com
Berk hfc, buyed from B2autodesigns.com
Osiris standard buyed from uprev.com
My tune was done by email, maybe its better to go at a shop with a dyno but there is no shop with awd dyno + osiris near me and they dont trust do it with awd fuse out.
I am satisfied with my mods now.
Sometime i look at true dual exhaust but im not sure if its really worth it.

Do i have to have a tune to make all those things work properly or can I save the tune for last? and is the osiris tune the same as a bought programmer

You really need to tune, not for each individual mod but if you're doing all that then yes definitely. Osiris is an ecu reflash program that lets you completely reprogram the settings in the stock ecu

I'm not a fan of mail order tunes, especially when they cost as much as dyno tunes... I live near AMS performance (home of the first 8 second GT-R) and they have AWD dynos. It's $550 for 2 hours of tuning, which is enough to do a tune on a car like this vs $500 for a generic Osiris tune.

Well you have to consider the fact that you don't get the $200 cipher cable when you just get dyno tuned at a shop.. Can't reflash back to stock and sell it later, datalog, check and clear codes... etc. What are you going to do with that $300 license when you part your car out??

That is a good point. I was planning on the dynotune in Dallas, but after some info. from Seymore (thanks dude!) I have decided to go with Osiris as soon as I get my money right.

Not to thread jack but...

Will a dynotune give you the switchable maps like we spoke about before...?? (sport, economy, etc) To me that is another important advantage of the Osiris...

Any tune will give you the 5 maps, but its up to the individual tuner to program them for you. I always do it automatically but not everyone else does... Some guys are just lazy.

I got 5 maps with my osiris dyno tune. HUGE difference from Uprev's garbage e-tune (not worth it at all IMO). I accidentally switched maps to engine kill on highway in bumper to bumper traffic (luckily) and was like wtf?! Then realized...

I was attempting to switch to gas save mode. Glad I wasn't moving at the time.

It's not like the car explodes.. All it does is bog and engine brake (fuel cut) until you switch it back. Unless you've never switched maps before or dont know which is which it shouldn't even be an issue

Yes you will need a completely new tune, boost is not something that works well with a generic tune. The osiris license can be reused tho so you'll save $300
