Welcome aboard bro,
Great ride. Congrats. The X is one fine G and will be especially tight with the navi.
Enjoy.

Congratulations Shoof sounds nice with all the trimmings . You will never be able to get out of the drivers seat. It's the most comfortable snow machine you can get. Every time I see fresh snow coming down I want to go out and play on the back roads.

So far the mods are as follows: 3M clear bumpers front and back (living in NY you need that), tinted the windows 35% all around except the windshield, changed the POS stock turanza's with 235/50/17 Pilot Sport A/S, and I'm changing the foglight/high beam bulb with the Sylvania Silverstars to sorta match the HID. I have the bulbs, lifted the hood today to replace them only to realize it's more work than I thought. It seems like you have to unbolt the light to get to the back of it, or unbolt some sort of support to get back there, it was too cold to do it today. Here's a few pics I took just after I tinted the car last thursday, but before I changed the tires(did that today). Pardon the poor quality of the pics, but cameraphone's can only be so good..

A closeup shot of the darkness of the tint from outside-in and vice versa

Let me know if you want to see pics of the car with the new shoes..It looks good!

There is a thread in the DIY section here:

https://g35driver.com/forums/faq-diy/56-changing-fog-light-bulbs.html

Also I can email you a Word document that I created with detailed instructions. skeletoncru@sbcglobal.net

I wish I knew that you have to go thru the fenderliners earlier on when the car was in the air getting the tires changed...
