C32 Amg

Had a C32 AMG come up behind me and decided to see how my car would fair. We didn't really have "race" as we were both at 80 when he decided to pull to my right and try to show me up. I decided to floor it and it appeared I was side by side with him until we hit 110. Then my wife screamed at me and I let it go. MT has the C32 AMG at killer numbers. I guess this guy was playing with me.

Definitely playing with you,
I went against one from 80 to 120. He walked away from me..no problem.
Your wife let you get to 110! My wife tells me anything above 100 is grounds for divorce! LOL

I think I have the best wife then, she can handle anything up to 155mph. Then she gives me this look ......... well, you know the one. BTW, the 155mph was in a Corvette, havent had the guts to take my 654 mile G35 up to speed yet. I knew she was the one for me when she went skydiving with me in Houston for the Mileneum sunset jump.

Did I mention that I work for Mercedes and saw first hand what the C55, C32, SL600, and SLK55 can do on the autobahn. If the C32 kept up with you up to 110, he was probably in 5th gear the whole time. If the C55 wasn't so #$%#$ expensive, I'd have bought one. But bang for the buck definitely goes to the G35. Much better than the alternative I was looking at, the C230.

This was what I cross-shopped against the G when I got mine. There are some good late model examples out there with a handful of miles for around $35K. A two year old C32 with 15-20K miles vs. a new G35 loaded to my liking was a tough call. But in the end, Mercedes gremlins and a budget concious CPA wife pushed me into a used G. Go figure Road and Track, I believe, actually got a 4.9 0-60 out of an auto. THAT is performance.

My uncle (who lives with us) has a C 32 AMG... It's a pretty amazing car. The new C 55 is gonna OWN! 5.5 Liters.... 8 Cylinders, but it's Automatic. I wonder if there's a manual option....?

Get him to let you drive it... that should be fun. Does this kid know what he drives, or is he oblivious... like, "this is a Merc., whatever..."

He doesnt really know much about cars. His dad went to the geneva car show last year and bought him a Cayenne Turbo, a 911 4s and an Audi S4.
The bastard comes to school almost everyday with a different car.
BTW he did let me test drive the C55, its amazingly fast I didnt get to go on the highway and push it the way i wanted to but its crazy fast.
The interior is nice as well, the car is 100% stock but still looks amazing.

Tell him that the 911 is a POS and you will be a great friend by taking off of his hands for 20k.

The sad part about this is, that it just might work... Ahh.... The rich and the stupid: what a benefit to those who know what they're talking about.
