I have a 2005 G35X with 70Kmiles. Last week the alarm started going off when I entered the
car pushing the unlock button on the door with Remote in my pocket. When I pushed the button the car would chirp 3 times and then go into alarm mode. Need to lock and then unlock the door with the remote to stop it. I replaced the battery in the remote did not work. Any help would be appreciated. Also there is a second LED switch under the alarm LED not sure what it is? Possible factory remote starter?? bought the car used. No info on the second LED switch.

 

Sounds like the previous owner had an aftermarket alarm installed. Look under the dash to see if you can see an alarm box then disconnect it

 

I have a second led...it is for the satellite tracking.
