Laugh at my pain (Muffler tip problem)

As you can see I stripped the screw... FML. I was wondering if anybody knows what to do to get it off. Also I am looking to replace the tips to new stainless steel ones. Anybody know where I can get them? Since the ones at Autozone don't fit because of the screw plug-ins.

Hi Roy, Google exhaust tips you'll have so many choices it will take a week to decide which ones you want. Removing the screw is easy, drill it out! You will need quality drills and a good drill to do so....Gary

Yea I know, but the thing is that I want to keep the stock muffler. And attached to the end of the tips are those hangers with screws which allow the chrome tip to slide over the real muffler tip and be locked in place. So I am guessing if I want new tips they will need to be welded on? Will that change the noise in anyway?

Dude you broke a stud, you didn't strip a screw. Drill the thing out and then replace it with a nut and bolt. Probably M8. Get something that is zinc plated and/or stainless so it doesn't immediately turn to rust. You should be OK.
