Manual Trans easier in '05

I'm been told by two separate dealers, that the new '05 MT is easier, smoother, and less forced.

Is this true? I'm test driving the '05 on Fri. Then I'm buying.

I've only driven one 04 6mt Sedan and it shifted like ****, not sure if it was the car (50 miles on it) or it was messed up. The 05 shifts like a nissan, a bit knotchy, but I wouldn't call it smooth...its easy though

I have an '04 and it's a bit notchy - not bad at all though.

I have found the 05 shifter to be a nice improvement !

Little bit less notchy....I still liked the 03 / 04 models that I drove though.

This was a nice surprise when I picked up my car last weekend.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback.

I've driven the 04, I'll tell you what I think after my drive on Fri.

Anyone else tested both '04 and '05 MTs?
