I have a few questions about my new G
Hi all, i have a 2003.5 sedan non sport and i would like to lower it 1" what are some good lowering springs to get? also with lowering springs is it best to get different shock/struts or can the factory ones be used? and last are the spring the same rate or are they stiffer or softer etc? i would like to not go softer if possible. Thanks for the help guys.
Most people use the Tien H Tech springs it will lower it your car about 1.38 inches in the front and .67 in the rear which will give you the same amount of wheel cap for the front and back, because as you notice now the stock ride height the front is higher than the rear, and the teins will give you a slight firmer ride but most people say it rides about the same as stock. The stock shocks will give out in time if you check ebay you can fine the tien s tech or h tech springs with tokico struts and shocks for about $523
You can run z springs or the "z/g" combo. That nets you about a 1" drop.
Do you have sport suspension? If so, you can get by using stock struts for a while. If not, I would suggest getting shocks as well.

Thanks so much for the replies please I need a couple more questions answered. If i lower this thing hows my alignment going to be? I did read the sticky but will a small drop be way out of wack to were im eating tires? also it is driven in the city so how are hitting potholes will i rub the fender with my tires? Thanks again for helping me out.
I did the z springs on the front of my 2003.5 sport sedan and wore out a set of tires in 3 months (they had a super low tread wear rating) I would recommend the alignment, it will save you a ton of money later down the road.
Thinking about getting a set of Tanabe NF210's myself this weekend. There is an event where they are practically giving them away. They also have the GF210's, but it sounds like those are more meant for Z's and cause too much drop on a sedan.

and which event is that?
the fronts are struts but not the struts you mentioned wich are MacPherson we have wishbone setup either way since its load bearing its a strut a shock dosent bear any weight
