Starter Issues

I have a 2006 G35 Sedan with only 43,000 miles and i don't think i should be having Starter issues.

I have full battery power, connections are clean and all fuses are functioning correctly. I turn the key and "Click" is all i get. I have disconnected the battery to reset. I have tried Jumping thinking battery didn't have the cranking power. Didn't work. I assume now its the starter or the solenoid. Has anyone had the same issue and what what the fix? I have replaced starters before on other cars......will this be as easy or do I need to take apart the undercarriage

Any Help would be appreciated!!

Starter is one of those parts where it can go out any time with out warning. But usually if you crank your key and all you hear is constant click than usually it's your starter. Your starter is connected in your tranny. But it's just easier and better to replace the whole starter than just to replace the soleniod plus when u get a new starter you have a warranty. It usually shouldn't be to hard to replace the starter.

Mine went out two months ago and left me stranded at a restaurant. Sometimes you can get down there and tap the solenoid with a wrench, if it starts the solenoid has gone south if it doesn't start then the starter is bad, I would only tap the solenoid to get me home or to the shop to get it fixed though, not daily.
Sometimes they go bad with age not with mileage
Best of luck

Starters can usually work for a long time but occasionally they'll die early. They're as easy to replace as the alternator.
