2003 G35 Sedan, Black with tan interior. Bought used about 6 months ago with 11K. Got 15K on it now.
Killer looking car. The windows in mine are tinted black.
I'll probably keep her until next fall then trade her. I've got mixed
feeling so far.
I love the way the car drives and the power but there's some things I don't
like.
The drivers seat "clicks" when I pull off from a stop. Somethings loose in the seat frame.
The drivers seat is not comfortable on long trips. We took the G to Disney
a few months ago and I'm surprized I didn't get a blood clot in my right hip.
It's not a problem unless I'm in it an hour or more which I'm usually not but
still, the drivers seat sucks.
There's something wrong in the front end. I suspect it's in the transmission.
When I pull off from a stop and it's been sitting more than a few hours there's this sound like rushing liquid, kind of a "grrrrrrrwhooosh" that lasts a few seconds then it doesn't do it again until I park and let it sit for more than a few hours.
Sometimes when I start it there's an audible "bump" right when the motor fires, but not always.
The windows rattle (on both sides), especially if they are rolled all the way
up. I have to roll them all the way up and then let them down just a fraction and then it goes away.
The automatic window mechanism has scraped the tint on the windows
in a long streak on both the drivers and passenger windows.
The black paint will scratch or chip if you look at it wrong.
All-in-all there's just too many little things for a car those costs this much
with 15K miles.
Last but not least, the gas milage sucks bad in stop and go driving.
Thinking about trading on a new Acura TL or Mercedes E320 (better gas milage).
