Hey guys new owner of a 06 G35. Plan of doing a tranny drain/refill based off the videos already listed for the sedan A/T model. Anyway I looked at my dipstick today and here is my question. there is a saying "HOT" with 2 dots then a few centimeters away there is a crosshatch ( all them small tiny Xs). Where does the fluid need to be? Between the dots? In the crosshatch?

I know you check it when it's hot and idling. I just wanna fill it right to have enough/not overfill. Thanks. Here is a pic of what I took of the dipstick.

In the cross hatch, not above it. Easiest thing is to use a measuring cup and graduate a milk carton or water jug. This will ensure you put it the same amount you take out. Also, trans fluid expands as it heats up, so best to run less than a minute so the new fluid is close to the same temp as what you took out.
