OEM fan clutch high speed on cold engine?

Hi,
I recently replaced my radiator, thermostat and brand new OEM fan clutch. Everything works fine but I noticed that my fan kicks in to a high speed even when I start engine early in the morning, my engine temperature can be anywhere between 80º to a 100º and my fan would run at high speed. Driving on the street fan gets so loud that I scare kids and old people, some even ask if my car is V8
Fan on my car goes back to normal speed after short drive and kicks to a high speed randomly, sometimes at 175º or 180º and in some cases engine temperature will rise to 182º and fan would run at low speed.
Any ideas why my fan had mind on its own?
PS: my gas mileage got a lot better
at average speed 75mph I get 30mpg and in the city now I get up to 21mpg and my car never in its lifetime had gotten better gas mileage then 25 highway and 15/16 city.

Bump >___>

Same thing is happening to me (except 06 coupe). Had my radiator and thermostat replaced and my fans seem to just constantly be loud... I mean, it's not a huge problem; just a little annoying... Anyone help us? :-d

30 mpg is great, not sure I would mess with anything if I was getting that mpg. On topic, how are you measuring your water temp?

@ 5150DS: I bought a Scanguage-2 connects to OBD2 plug, it scans system for error codes, shows mpg, rpm, air intake temp, engine temp and much more. Onse I figure out how to upload pictures to this website I'll post them here.

I am not personally measuring anything haha . I just know that my radiator fans would not be as obnoxious pre-radiator+thermostat replacement. Now that they're replaced, they're constantly on after a few seconds of letting the car run; whether it be idle or under load.

ThatOneDude: I'm sure you have electric dual fan on 06 models. Question is if your temperature sensor reads engine temperature correctly.

You can get OBD wireles scanner, of ebay. Don't buy cheap chinese made scanners they lag. Download obd scan app and sync it with your smart phone, open obd app, one of the options you should see engine temperatute.
