DRL bulb

Yea its a small bulb. So are you saying my car doesnt have a DRL? Because my high beams are never 40% on.
When I turn the car on there are no lights on. 1st turn on the light lever the "city light" or what I thought was a DRL comes on along with the side marker lights on the bumper. 2nd turn the lever headlights come on.
The fogs only come on when the headlights are on, and I turn the lever for them.
High beams come on when the headlights are on, and I pull or push the light lever. Also this cancels the fogs until I take the hi beams off.

I went to that site and it doesnt say DRL on the list. So go fish!
If it did have a DRL, it would use the high beam bulb run at 40% power. Nowadays, more manufacturers are using LED's are DRL's for styling.
But what you are referring to is typically called the "city light" or a parking light. It's on 03-04's and was removed in 05
DRL's are only on Canadian models since it's mandated. US models do not use DRL's.

where does the other 20% go?DRL's run the high-beams at Half voltage (Series circuit). This splits the voltage ("power").
Splitting 100% = 50% to each high beam filament.

sorry just bothered me
Correct except for this whole 40% thing. I thought you mis-printed it the first time so I said nothing.
