I attempted to replace my wiring harness last night...

Here are the symptoms:

When I reattach the ground cable to the battery - the speakers in the car sound like they are getting "feedback" for about 1 second. There is almost no interior power (reading lamps, etc) -

When i put the key in and turn past acc to "on" - the speakers again give me the "feedback" noise - and my headlights and radiator fan go on and stay on ...

Any thoughts?

I know it is something simple... I just can't find it.

As a side note - the replacement harness was from a G35 coupe (I have the G35 Sedan...). I was told there are no differences between them (other than the additional cigarette lighter on the passengers side).
