Broken license plate light housing

Sooo... I was changing the LEDs in one of my license plate lights and the clip broke. I've looked on eBay and various part websites with no luck. Anybody have ideas where I can pick up a replacement license plate light housing?

First thing I tried to do when I purchased the car and same thing happened. I just stuff the light assembly into that pocket and left it alone. Never got in trouble for it so whatever.

The housing itself broke? When i bought my car the license plate light didnt work... dont as how i got safety lol. So i just hard wired an led strip there it does the trick and its 3m so aslong as you stick on it a dry even surface it should suffice. I checked for the housing with the dealer it was 80$ your probablly not going to find one online.

careful with that dude, lights arent so immune to weather conditions, rain, snow etc. And if its not secure it might hang out over your license plate itself lol
